We congratulate Maximilian Hell for his latest paper “Supervised Land Use and Land Cover (LULC) classification from satellite imagery requires good and reliable labels"

In this research we present a noise detection and filtering method to clean and improve inexact and incorrect LULC labels from existing maps. These corrected labels show a significant improvement in the performance of deep learning classifiers learned on them compared to the original labels.
